Greatest Morocco
Private guided tours, treks and day trips through the diverse Moroccan landscape.
Aït Ben HaddouMorocco, by the people who call it home
Greatest Morocco began with a single Land Cruiser and a belief that the best way to see this country is with someone who loves it. Today we're a small team of Moroccan guides, drivers and trip designers based in Marrakech and Fes.
We design every journey by hand and lead it on the ground — never a script, never a rushed coach tour. You travel in a small group, stay in family riads and desert camps, and see the Morocco we love, at a human pace.
- Born-and-raised local guides
- Small groups of 2 to 10
- Family riads & luxury desert camps
- Breakfast, dinner & entry fees included
The Greatest Morocco difference
Over three decades in Morocco, small groups, and a country we know by heart.
Led by locals
Every trip is guided on the ground by a Moroccan expert who grew up here — not a script or an app.
Small by design
Groups of just 2 to 10 travellers, so you get real access to riads, families and out-of-the-way corners.
Crafted, not packaged
We shape each itinerary around your dates, pace and interests, then handle every detail — transport, riads, guides and entry fees.
From first idea to the Sahara, in three steps
No endless email chains. Tell us what you're dreaming of and a local expert takes it from there.

Real stories from travellers who fell in love with Morocco
Mohamed guides our journeys through Morocco. He has also led Morocco itineraries for international tour operators, where travellers named him personally in five-star public reviews. Their words, not ours:
The best tour guide I have ever traveled with. His deep knowledge of Moroccan history, culture and geography made every day both educational and enjoyable.
He added texture and depth to our experience with his heartfelt personal stories, which both educated and brought meaning to many of the sites we visited.
He not only showed us this beautiful country, he made sure we were safe, welcomed us as warmly as a family member and ensured that we had a fully immersive experience. He was knowledgeable, accommodating and patient.
He went out of his way to show us places that gave us the flavor of Morocco, not just the tourist spots. I highly recommend this tour, but it wouldn't have been the same with a different guide.
Mohamed rose to the occasion in dealing with a difficult situation, although it was completely outside of his control — he took it upon himself to rectify it, often on his own personal time.
When I asked Mohammed for recommendations for hammams, hot air balloon experiences and famous hotels in Marrakech, he was very nice, kind and patient in responding and suggesting different places.
The tour guide Mohamed Mahfod, with his extensive knowledge of his country and culture, made the best he could to make us feel welcomed to his country and to leave with the desire to come back for more.

Questions, answered
A few of the things travellers ask us most. Something else on your mind? Just get in touch.
When is the best time to visit Morocco?
Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) bring the most comfortable weather across the imperial cities, mountains and desert. We run trips year-round and tailor the route to the season.
How big are your groups?
Small by design — between 2 and 10 travellers. You can also book any tour as a fully private departure for just your own party.
Can you customise an itinerary?
Absolutely. Most of our travellers adjust something — add a night in the desert, swap a city, slow the pace. Share your wish list and we'll build around it.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend two to three months ahead for peak seasons, but we'll always do our best for last-minute plans — just ask.
Is Morocco a good destination for families?
Very much so. Our small groups and private trips are easy to pace for children and grandparents alike, and our guides love sharing Morocco with families.
