Overview

The journey

Trace the ancient caravan route from Marrakech over the High Atlas to the edge of the Sahara — sleeping in kasbahs and under the stars.

Cross the High Atlas on Morocco's most dramatic mountain road, with kasbah stops along the way.

Aït Ben Haddou

Wander the UNESCO-listed earthen ksar that has stood over the caravan route for centuries.

Todra Gorge

Walk beneath 300-metre canyon walls where the light turns the rock to copper.

Erg Chebbi dunes

Camel-trek into the Sahara and sleep in a private luxury camp beneath the stars.

Skoura oasis

Palm groves and mud-brick kasbahs in the valley of a thousand kasbahs.

Dawn over the dunes

Climb a ridge for sunrise — the silence and colour you'll remember longest.
